Exiram Productions is an independent film production company that makes retro style films. The company was formed in 2003 by Alexis Ramirez. The first three features were Shaolin Impact, Fury Blade and Werewolves of Stayville. Upcoming films include The Changing, The Unfamiliar and Monster Mom.
Alexis Ramirez has been making movies since he was 14 years old. He started making 7 short films to shoot some ideas and in 2003 he made his first feature film, Shaolin Impact. Other feature films include Fury Blade and Werewolves of Stayville. His specialty is female werewolf stories. While he was making short films, he was in a video production class at Lehman College, where he filmed a Lehman College documentary video with Bronxnet, a local cable TV station. He always liked making movies with a retro feel because he's so into Electronica, New Wave and Disco. He also likes watching classic horror films from the 70's, 80's and early 90's which is part of the novelty. He's into retro video games, retro poster artwork, vhs and laserdisc. |
